Mr. Waddey is responsible for all operations of NAI Global. NAI Global is one of the largest commercial real estate firms worldwide and a top five global brand. NAI Global has consistently generated over $20 billion in annual transaction volume, operates more than 325 offices, manages over 1.15 billion square feet of properties and facilities and has 5,800 + professionals in 65 countries.

Previously, Mr. Waddey was a Senior Managing Director of NAI Global and Co-Head of the group’s Capital Markets practice where he oversaw the execution of over $8.5 billion in transactions.  He also served as General Counsel for NAI Global.  

Prior to joining NAI Global, Mr. Waddey was a partner at Stites & Harbison law firm where his practice focused on commercial real estate and real estate finance. He was a member of the Capital Markets Group where he led a team in closing CMBS financings for national conduit lenders including JPMorgan, SunTrust Bank and National City Bank. 

Mr. Waddey earned a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Tennessee and New York and holds a real estate sales license in the state of New York.

Mr. Waddey is on the Board for the Young Adult Cancer Initiative at Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center and is a past President of the Board of the Ronald McDonald House of Nashville. He also previously served on the Board of the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
